In January 2023, we are contributing to a panel discussion on intuitive farming hosted by Dr Julia Wright at the Oxford Real Farming Conference.
Miche’s TEDx Soweto Talk ‘Cooking, Culture and Conversations’ emerged as part of Eat From the Earth pavement banquet co-created with the JHB Culinary School, Johannesburg.
In September 2022 Miche was awarded Arts Council of England funding to continue developing her creative practice encompassing Presence of Food.
July 2022 marks the publication of ‘Art of Sympoiethics’ in the Ecological Citizen. The article celebrates being human as a continuum of reciprocal exchanges between ourselves, each other, and the matter and habitats of the animate Earth.
We are honoured to have contributed a chapter on the art of food rituals to ‘Subtle Agroecologies: farming with the hidden half of nature’ edited by Julia Wright.
