Natural health for thriving communities and planetary well-being
Mookaite is the on-going experimental collaboration between Earth Nutritionist and Founder of Greencuisine Trust Daphne Lambert and Miche Fabre and Flora Hardy. Our explorations of the vibrant interdependence between the well-being of the human body and the body of the Earth are embedded in ecological nutrition, ritual practices and indigenous encounters. Mookaite happenings offer experiences of life-sustaining food as a convivial thanks-giving ritual that honours regenerative forms of gardening and farming.
Mookaite is a crystal stone, vibrant in mustard, blood red and chalk colouring, traditionally, used for its powers to promote energy and strengthen our immunity. Here it is accompanied by artichoke and shiitake, both known for their health benefits.
Previous culinary initiatives between Daphne, Miche and Flora which enliven the care and healing of people and place include: Intimate Tastes of Life, Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival; Living Soils-Living Food in Bristol for UN International Year of Soils; and Art of Renewal with Vida Haus, Suffolk.
